Testo Smart App

Description

The Testo Smart App interface equipment type is the way SAFE communicates with your Testo Smart Probes. You must use the Testo Smart App and connect the Testo probes in SAFE as you would connect any sensor in SAFE. The way SAFE communicates with your Testo probes is via the Testo Smart App. So to use the probes your computer and phone or tablet must be on the same network. The Testo Smart App must also be open on your phone or tablet for SAFE to communicate with the app. When inserting on the configuration board remember to specify your IP address.

Name

Name specifies the name of the block.

Manufacturer

Manufacturer is an optional specification you can write.

Model

Model is an optional specification you can write.

Serial Number

Serial Number is an optional specification you can write.

Internal Number

Internal Number is an optional specification you can write.

IP Address

IP Address is the Testo Smart App IP address. You can find the IP address in the apps Help and Information --> Instrument information --> Network information. If your phone or tablet is on wifi it will typically look something like 192.168.100.128.

Sample Interval

Sample interval is how many times SAFE samples per second given in Hertz (Hz). Default is 1 Hz but it can be set to what you want. REMEMBER that the sample interval in SAFE must match the sample interval in your Testo Smart App.
