In SAFE you can import data files (.wav) from Audacity when building a measurement sequence or import files directly into processing.

Exporting sound files in Audacity

In Audacity you must export your data as a WAV file, FLAC file or OGG File to be able to import your recordings into SAFE.

1. Open File menu
2. Click Export
3. Click Export Audio...
4. Choose either WAV, FLAC or OGG
5. Click save

You should at maximum export a two channel file. In the bottom left corner you can choose the sample rate of the exported signal. SAFE can import all sample rates and resample if necessary.
