The generic measurement step. Use this to insert tracks that make measurements from sensors, saves metadata or variables.

Name
Name specifies the name of the step.
Description
Description is an optional description of the step. The text written here will be displayed on the step, and visible in the measurement log.
Pre-delay
Pre-delay is a time delay before the step starts.
Measurement time
Measurement time is the time that the step will run before the sequence moves on.
Layout
The layout defines the rows and columns of space available in the step. The layout can be configured as seen below.

If a value is inserted that is less than required to hold the tracks currently in the step, the value is automatically changed to the minimum value.
