Sweep
Description
The signal generator block sweep
can generate logarithmic or linear types of sweeps. The sweeps are designed in
the frequency domain according to Transfer-Function Measurements with Sweeps
by Müller and Massarani.
Output
The output is a single dimension Mx1
sweep.

Name
Name specifies the name of the block.
Sample rate
Sample rate is the sample rate of the sweep.
Start
Start specifies when the sweep should start. If start is above 0 s the start is zeropadded accordingly.
The start can be defined in either s
, ms
or samples
.
Length
Length specifies the length of the sweep from start in either s
, ms
or samples
.
Amplitude
Amplitude is the amplitude (Peak) of the sweep. As the signal is generated on the computer the unit is
defined as FS
.
Type
Type is the sweep type. It can either be logarithmic
or linear
.
Phase-in
Phase-in is the sweeps starting frequency. The sweep will not be white or pink in the frequency domain, dependent on type, at this frequency.
Start frequency
Start frequency is the frequency where the sweep starts being white or pink in the frequency domain.
Stop frequency
Stop frequency is the frequency where the sweeps stop being white or pink in the frequency domain.
Phase-out
Phase out is the sweeps stopping frequency.
Outputs
Outputs specifies the number of output(s) the block will have. Each output will output the same sweep.
