Unit Impulse
Description
The signal generator block Unit Impulse
can generate a unit impulse, also known as a Dirac Delta Function, which is a single sample impulse at a given time.
Output
The output is a single dimension Mx1
unit impulse.

Name
Name specifies the name of the block.
Sample rate
Sample rate is the sample rate of the output.
Start
Start specifies when the impulse should happen.
The start can be defined in either s
, ms
or samples
.
Length
Length specifies the length of the output from start in either s
, ms
or samples
.
Amplitude
Amplitude is the amplitude (Peak) of the unit impulse. As the signal is generated on the computer the unit is
defined as FS
.
Outputs
Outputs specifies the number of output(s) the block will have. Each output will output the same.
